Traxxas RC Car Stampede FPV in Neighbourhood (How to FPV From Inside the House) - RCLifeOn

Hey hey! Here's some footage from my FPV drive with the Traxxas Stampede RC car. All I did was attaching the video transmitter and a FPV camera to the car, and powered it with the main battery. I also swapped out the stock radio system, as it didn't have enough range. Instead of the normal radio I decided to use the Frsky Taranis with the X8R receiver, and it has a lot better range! In the back I have the Mobius camera filming the car from a nice perspective.
To be able standing inside the house I simply attached the video receiver to a tall pole and stuck it into the ground outside. I ran a long cable, carrying the video signal, to my FPV monitor (quanum v2 goggle screen).
You may not want to use 5.8GHz for the video, as it doesn't penetrate obstacles very well. I'm fairly impressed with the range after all...
Down in the right corner you can see what the monitor was showing me, and at the 6 minute mark you can see how the video almost disappears. This is solely because 2 houses are blocking the video signal. On a open field I could go WAY futher!
