Though it's still early days for AceMo, the NY-based procurer of beats stakes his claim with "Water Money". Taken from his sophomore release REDSHIFT (forthcoming on Bootleg Tapes), the track exhibits a darker side to instrumental hip hop, with its whirring mechanicalness still remaining danceable. "Water Money" captures much of New York in essence. It's our kind of floorfiller ? provided the dancefloor is darkened basement.
