Humankind has just been presented with the precise position and brightness of 1,140,622,719 stars in the first data release from the European Space Agency's (ESA) Gaia mission. It is the "largest all-sky survey of celestial objects" according to the space agency and they've also created a visualization of a 150 light-year flight to the Hyades Star Cluster using the data. -- Full Story:
