Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
FoxtechFPV sent me an RC800 7-inch LCD with in-built DVR for use with RC planes, multirotors and helicopters flown using FPV -- and here is how it stacks up on the bench.
And yes... for those who noticed, the standby ("off") power consumption is actually 1.2W, not 0.6W as stated in the video - mea culpa on the math :-)
The FPV flak vest is also kind of cool!
The video snippets at the end of the review were picked up from about 200m away using a Fatshark Spironet antenna plugged into the DVR and it would appear that the more garishly colored footage was from a FastShark Teleporter setup with 250mW transmitter and the other video was from FoxTechFPV-type 5.8GHz systems.
Please don't judge the DVR by this footage since this upload to YouTube was done at a very low bitrate -- you can tell that by the way the motion of my hand is jerky when the DVR screen is in close-up and showing snow at some parts in this video.
Stay tuned for part 2... the weather is already clearing!
