OpenPilot CC3D is a great flight controller and OpenPilot recently released the Version 15 of its OpenPilot GCS that offers Mini Me features and unlocks full potential and more features on your same old OpenPilot CC3D Flight controller Boards. Now you can select from some crazy solid Aerobatics flight modes called Acro+ for more solid acrobatic flights and control and of course including horizon, rattitude and old Rate modes if you wanna go even crazier.
Also offering TPS Throttle PID Scaling that totally makes the High Throttle High PID gains oscillation disappear automatically by scaling down the PIDs as throttle goes up. Super feature, loving it.
So I testing Acro+ mode on my old 260 Quadcopter that is upgraded with Cobra CM2208 Motors and now nothing but a kickass Quadcopter with this new Acro+ flight mode. Enjoy the flight testing.
I do all my testing for new firmware, new flight modes and new PID settings on my older Quadcopters and then move the settings with some tweaks and mods to OFM Hyper 330. Though I am addicted to fly with OFM Hyper 330 Dynamic Motor tilting feature but still traditional quads are handy for testing where we have more chances of crashing and I can’t afford to crash OFM Hyper 330 as we have limited parts supply for now.
More details and updates about OFM Hyper 330 will be posted here, so be sure to bookmark this page
