Don't underestimate larger motors with a lower kv ratings. Even though smaller motors may be "faster", smaller motors may not have the power to actually swing larger props to their full kv rating. Larger motors have larger magnets and can have more torque because of it. 1806 motors can swing 6" props just fine - I've been using them for over a year with no problems. Now I'm ready to start pushing a little harder and most likely moving my ZMR250 up to using 4S batteries.
These motors have a maximum amp draw of about 15 amps. You should really be using at least 20 amp ESCs with them.
