Portuguese for hit, players are rewarded for hitting objects such as posts, the crossbar, or even the goalkeeper as they build their move towards scoring a goal. An ordinary goal, or 'gol simple' is only worth one point, whereas hitting the crossbar as part of a team's move is worth 10 alone.
