LHMFC Mini Quad Racing - 15th August 2015
Had an amazing day at the Little Harlington Model Flying Club quad racing event. Thanks to Eric and Chi for organising the event and sorting out all the lap timing systems. I believe this was the first event in the UK to use an electronic timing system.
The event consisted of 3 qualify heats which were used to put us into semi final groups of 4. In the first 2 qualify heats, I set the lap record, but crashed out, so it didn't count. In the last qualify heat, I decided not to risk it too much and managed to place 2nd behind my mate Brett Collis (We're both very competitive lol ). In the semi finals, Brett crashed going through the start gate on the first lap, so I just took in easy and ended up in pole position for the finals. I think there were a total of 26 pilots and I managed to place 1st! So pleased to have one my first official race event :)

Motors: Cobra 2204 2300kv
ESC: UBAD Mini-Beast 20A (with BLHELI 14)
FC: Naze32 Cleanflight (PID Controller 1)
Lipo: Turnigy Nano tech 4s 1800mah 65-130C
