Jet powered RC planes fly in stormy conditions (October 2011)
Turbine powered RC planes from the first jet meeting of the 2011/2012 flying season at the SWMAC in Tokoroa New Zealand.
A very strong crosswind, threatening clouds and cold temperatures meant that not a lot of flying was done but those who did take to the skies did get more than their fair share of adrenaline -- as you'll see from the landings.
