World Models SuperSports 40 RC plane, maiden flight
I haven't fitted the cowl or the spinner yet but Sunday seemed like a good day to do the maiden flight on the World Models SuperSports 40 RC plane.
It flies much as expected -- quite fast, with an ASP52 up front and reasonably aerobatic -- although the rolls are not very axial even with lots of rudder.
Looks like a good fun model though -- now I'll throw the cowl on, fit a spinner and see how fast it really goes!
This model is now the replacement for the good old "Flying Trainer" which was sacrificed to the tower-gods a few months ago -- check out the video on this channel.
