X-UAV Skua Endurance Testing

Testing the endurance of the X-UAV Skua fpv plane using the factory recommended power setup.
1 10,000mah 4cell lipo (From ebay)
1200kv brushless motor (power 15 rimfire by great planes)
10x5 thin electric prop (APC thin electric type)
Test done at sea level near the water, in moderate temperatures,
at the lowest possible throttle setting to maintain altitude, without any sharp maneuvers or steep turns, at the factory recommended C.G.
Results obtained: Flight time of 2 hrs 1 minute, and 20 seconds
Conclusion: the claim of 4 to 5 hrs flight time is not accurate, but the results, and the performance of the plane are still exceptional!
The skua could carry even more weight, and has lots of room for gear. It flies hands off, and is a great plane for FPV! It could easily manage long distance and long duration flights, and If you are thinking about buying one, We recommend it!
