Mini quadcopter FPV farm day
The Forest Fliers had their PPV mini-quads out in force at the farm in Tokoroa last weekend with Roddy leading the way using his 4-motor ZMR250 hexacopter(?) and Phil trimming the trees with his QAV250. I had a good time (LOS) with the tilted-motors Quadrysteria Mini Mamba, and Blackout mini H but the Afro 20A ESCs on the MXP230e don't play nicely with high KV motors so that will be fixed for another day.
This lovely day was not forecast as such so numbers were down a little (since we were told it was going to rain and blow). However, there was even a secret visitor who shall remain anonymous (an underground FPV flier) -- hence the pixelation at one point in the video so as to preserve his anonymity.
