In this second video in the APM 2.X series we look at how to connect the GPS, mount the board, how it’s powered, how to install the motors and calibrate the ESCs and perform a final check to ensure that everything is connected correctly.
We cover what JP2 (Jumper 2) does on the board, options to power the 3.1 and what to do if you can't power your board from the ESC connections.
Then we will look at a top tip about how you can avoid problems with crossed motor connections, how to calibrate the ESCs (using the short and longhand method) and finally a top tip for how to check that he motors are installed perfectly before the first hover test.
