Boat & Truck both end up in Lake Austin
Saturday April 21,2012 Brooke and I arrived to my neighborhood Apache Shores lakeside park and we saw this, lucky I had my Canon camera with me so I was able to film it!
No audio in this video... too much cusses in the background
My friend Tom said this
"I don't think anyone knows the exact cause of the trucking going in. They said they had been parked for about 10 minutes and it just started sliding in. The LCRA was releasing water when I got there about 30 minutes after it happened. If they started generating during that 10 minutes, the lake could have risen 1-2 feet in the time and create 2-3 knot current. It could have lifted the boat (connected to the rear of the truck) losing traction and sucking it away"
