Adding a DVR to your FPV ground station is one of the best things you can invest in. Not only do they record your amazing flights and get your osd info on screen to record that epic adventure but they also make it possible to have a backup screen if you loose video on goggles and also having a recorded video of your flight if your planes has an issue makes it that much easer when doing a search and rescue. I have a few hours of flight time on my dvr and love it so far. It is easy to use and easy to set up. The footage is clear and that is all that I need it to do. Thanks for checking out this reveiw.

Info About DVR.
Hobby Wireless proudly introduce the VR1500, very identical to PV500 recorder.
It was developed with customized firmware for FPV, and it never goes to solid "blue" or "black" screen.
If your receiver gets poor or weak signal with static reception, it will show all the noise, but the video will not disappears going to a solid blue or black screen.
The VR1500 records sharp and crispy videos. We tested it using many different cameras with outstanding results.
It supports PAL and NTSC videos, and it also provides 5v output to directly power a 5v camera, in case you want to use it as standalone unit. It has a built-in motion detection features that turn this recorder to a great security DVR.
