World Models 120” Clipped Wing Cub with DA-100L
This is another video memory from the 2016 Tri-Cities Huckfest in Richland, Washington. In this video, we capture a nice flight as 15 year old Jacob takes up his awesome 120" World Models Clipped Wing Cub powered by a DA-100.
I think you’ll agree that this young man has a bright future in the hobby!
As an aside, I had reached my limit for continuous filming and was going to take a coffee break just as Jacob stepped up to the line. I thought I would try to film just one more flight because I love his Cub (and especially the pilot figure!) You can plainly see that my arms got too heavy to hold up the camera.

An aerobatic version of the classic yellow Piper J-3 Cub. Top quality balsa and plywood construction. Covered with hand iron-on World Models' ToughLon coverings. Pre-painted fiberglass cowling. Jacob and his dad purchased this plane second hand from a local IMAC competitor who had performed a number of excellent modifications that make this plane strong and fun to fly.
