MIP is constantly innovating the RC industry and during my Team Associated B5M build, I had to incorporate some of their great products.
Here's where I got them and some info from MIP:
Shiny Puck System:
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
MIP would like to introduce the drive system of the future, for all Mod 2wd vehicles; MOD MIP ‘SHINY’ PUCKS™ SYSTEMS!!!! These systems are of steel construction, keeping to relatively the same overall weight that you are used to with your steel OEM bones; but giving you the added benefit of MIP Pucks™ that are fully serviceable. No longer will diff outdrives and CV bones wear simultaneously, with the puck system all that is needed is to easily change Pucks™ when necessary, and the drivetrain stays tighter, fresh, longer. This added benefit equates to less money, less time off the track for rebuilds, and keeps your vehicle more competitive.
TARGET CUSTOMERS:
Serious racers looking for a competitive advantage on the track
Racers with 13.5 or higher motors
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES:
Quicker acceleration
Less overall wear on drive components
Aluminum Topshaft:
As physics plainly puts it, Force x Mass = Acceleration. By transferring over to MIP’s one-piece Aluminum Top Shaft you will decrease the amount of moving parts (OEM three-piece design), and most importantly shed about 66.5% of the rotational mass equating to increased acceleration! The Top Shaft comes in at a feather light 4.5 grams, and is of course made right here in the USA out of aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum and hard-anodized to perfection.
TARGET CUSTOMERS:
Modified/Stock Racers
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES:
Quicker Acceleration
Less Rotating Mass
