3DHS 71" AJ Slick - Shakedown Flight
Jack installed new radio gear and electronics into his 3D Hobby Shop AJ Slick 71 after an external BEC failed and fried everything. Here he gets MG to try out his newly refreshed power system and offer an opinion about the plane's setup.
It's powered by a Hacker A-50-16L V2 on 8s. I was keen to see how the motor performed because it's the same one I chose for my new 71" Slick. Even with cold temps, the plane had lots of power to pull out of a hover, etc.
MG used Jack's radio and it was the first time MG had flown the plane. The plane flew well and MG's only suggestion was to look at the CG because he felt it was a bit nose heavy. Stay tuned....
