During the Cold War, a secret organization "Patriot" has created a squad of superheroes, which included participants from various Soviet republics. For years, the heroes had to hide their identity, but in hard times, they again take the case.
Kurzinhalt: Während des Kalten Krieges gründete die Geheimorganisation PATRIOT, eine Truppe aus Superhelden deren Teilnehmer aus verschiedenen Teilen der ehemaligen Sowjetrepublik stammten. Über Jahre hinweg war ihre Identität geheim, doch nun sind sie gezwungen diese zu offenbaren um ihre Verbündeten zu beschützen. Guardians (Защитники / Zashchitniki) ist der erste signifikante Versuch in das weltweite Superhelden Phänomen einzusteigen und so bringt Saric Andreasyan mit den Guardians die ersten russischen Helden auf die Leinwand.
