PGA Tour pro Rickie Fowler took to unusual methods to hone his skills for the 95th PGA Championship that took place August 8-11, 2013. Red Bull converted the Uline Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. into a visually stunning psychedelic "driving range" complete with projection-mapped targets, state-of-the-art sound, and a stadium-size laser and light show.
This is a behind-the-scenes look at how the indoor driving range concept came about and how the animated effects such as mysterious creatures, magical islands, glow-in-the-dark LED golf balls, and even the talking moon, were created.
