Road trips are a hell of a thing. Especially when you're taking a road trip through Canada and you aren’t really sure how you got there. The Bearded Man loves to travel, but Canada can prove to be a treacherous place for even the most seasoned traveller. Sure, most travelers take a few precautions before they go somewhere foreign: 1) Don’t have too much cash on you, 2) Don’t wear flashy jewelry on the street, 3) Keep your backpack in front of you, and so on… Imagine The Bearded Man’s surprise when he found none of these tips worked in Canada. Everywhere he went, people kept trying to help him find his way, offering food, directions, shelter, and so on. Instead of stealing things from him, people actually GAVE him *new* things. Doors were unlocked everywhere, and when he was driving too fast, a police officer actually *apologized* to him for not making the speed limit faster and then sent him on his way. This strange land and its strange people was really doing a number on his fragile mind. Needless to say, as he drove across the border in a car that he had no recollection of buying, renting, or stealing, he certainly had a lot to ponder on the way back.
