How to Add Overhead Lighting to a Bedroom
Scott adds dimmable overhead lighting to a dark bedroom.
Where to find it?
Scott installed an oil-rubbed bronze LED flush mount fixture manufactured by Commercial Electric and sold at Home Depot.
Other supplies and materials for this project, including 14/2 non-metallic cable, old work electric boxes, and LED compatible dimmer switches are sold at home centers and electrical supply houses.

How to Locate Cabinet Knobs and Pulls
Tom gives tips on installing cabinet hardware accurately and consistently.
The adjustable jig with drill holes is the Cabinet Hardware Jig, manufactured by Kreg.
The adjustable jig that allowed for centering knobs and pulls on drawer and door front cabinets is the Cabinet Hardware Jig, manufactured by True Precision Tools.
Other materials for this project including two-faced putty, combination squares, and a basic plastic jig can be purchased at a home center.
How to Plant a Rain Garden
Jenn plants a rain garden that filters storm runoff to prevent contaminating a marsh.
To fill the hole, Jenn used a layer of coarse sand, then a mix of coarse sand, compost, and bark mulch to fill the rest of the hole. These are available at garden centers and landscape suppliers.
Jenn used the following plants in this garden:
Panicum virgatum (switch grass)
Clethra alnifolia (summer sweet)
Vaccinium corymbosum (highbush blueberry)
