FMS 1700mm P-51D - Maiden

Brant picked up this beautiful P-51D Red Tail at RC Pitstop and brought it out to the club for the maiden.
Of course, the weather had been perfect all week and today, the clouds rolled in to bring us more rain for the weekend. Against a grey sky, Brant takes her up for the maiden.
After a few trimming passes he said that that the Mustang was locked in and flying great.
This is the only foam warbird we've had at our field that didn't even think about nosing over.
We were hoping to get more video but just after this flight, a circlip that holds on the wheel came off and so did the wheel. The second flight will have to wait until Brant gets a new circlip.
I tried a new L bracket on the camera and couldn't get comfortable with it. The footage is not nearly as steady as I'd like it to be.
