Pitbull vs Alaskan Malamute , Rottweiler vs German Shepherd
This video is about the same sex aggression problem in dogs. This is the one of the biggest problems tat multiple dog owners are facing. It may come as a surprise that two dogs getting along well as puppies may suddenly engage into vicious fight as they grow up. There are many factors involved in same sex dog aggression in multi dogs house hold. A study shows that same dog aggression are more common in dogs such as alaskan malamute, pitbulls, boxers. Breeds such as pitbull terriers only get the bad reputation cause people forget that they were bred to work independently and making them work alongside other dogs isn't in their nature. However, study proved that inter dog aggression is not uncommon and it may develop in any breed of dogs and there is a reason to it. According to Gail Fisher who had been a dog trainer for almost 40 years " A pack with several adult males and females of same age are rarely found in the wild". So naturally two males dogs or female dogs of same would not live in one pack. They would just split to start their own pack, and if they remain in one pack then they will obey the pack leader. Another factor is the change in hormones when they reach maturity either males or females. Naturally these dogs would spend a lot of energy on hunting and in search of food for survival but when they don't get enough time to shed off their energy then this can also escalate fights. So if this ever happens if you have multiple dogs at home then don't worry as it's a common thing to happen.
