The tilt mechanism is probably the most mechanically challenging part of a VTOL. Not only does it need to be strong and smooth pivot, it has to rotate at least 90 degrees (preferably 100-110 degrees), which isn't possible with the majority of tricopter style motor tilts. So I had to scrap the idea of using push rods and go with a gearing mechanism.
