In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew learns about advanced innovations being developed in Japan by ProDrone. Among the systems that the company had on display at InterDrone 2016 in Las Vegas was a ducted-fan quadcopter developed to make direct, physical contact with horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces in order to inspect for cracks that are 0.1 millimeters across. Also on display was a large hexacopter with two robotic arms, capable of carrying and lifting objects. It is intended for missions such as search and rescue, as well as manipulation of the environment in circumstances that would be too dangerous for a human to enter.
