Rant: Airways NZ shows its hand in drone airspace money-grab
All over the world, companies are vying for control of the airspace used by drones and RC models. Has Airways New Zealand shown just how unscrupulous and deceptive they're prepared to be in order to extend their monopoly on control of this country's airspace to include unmanned craft? Are they prepared to do "what ever it takes", including artificially inflating the incident figures, in order to force compulsory registration on drone and RC model fliers? It would appear so and even though they have quickly backtracked, the evidence is presented here for all to see.
