Very interesting day for me. Racing in a new location, big track, crazy elevation change. The track was tons of fun and it was difficult. I got up to speed in practice after my 6th or so pack. Feeling pretty good.
Well Zero felt a heck of a lot better lol... I flew well today but I was flying well outside of my comfort zone to try and win. I even got the thumb shakes which hasn't happened since... before Dubai?
Very humbling experience to make so many mistakes on a race day and get 2 DNF's. It's at this point where I would say, "Time to get back it!" Which I will... but at this point, vs Zero, it probably doesn't matter. :p
One thing I'll be working on with him is his qualifying or time trial strategy / skill. It's lacking. But the kid is an absolute monster in a head 2 head race.
