Rant: New Zealand police run from drone (hysteria alert)
Will I be arrested after saying these things about the NZ Police? When an NZ Police helicopter *allegedly* encountered a drone over the country's largest city early on New Year's day, the police beat a hasty retreat. Now they are calling for tougher regulations -- even though it is clear that they are too afraid of drones to enforce the regulations that already exist. Totally unsatisfactory. The media-induced hysteria related to drones gets worse, and we're only one day into 2019.
