At last, Intel has released the details of their new Socket 1155 computing platform! This platform has been anticipated by many for a long time, and is currently known by its code name, "Sandy Bridge".
We sat down with Intel FAE Paul Canaan, who took us through an explanation of the CPU microarchitecture and the corresponding H67 and P67 chipsets. Our Q&A resolves some burning questions, such as the naming conventions, whether or not unlocked versions will be available (yes, the "K" version is unlocked), and what the functions of the H67 and P67 chipset variations will be (see the video for more info).
Enjoy the video, and stay tuned for more Sandy Bridge videos over the next week!
