The DYS Lightning 220 racing drone is certainly going to be a rocket-ship, thanks to its powerful 2205 hollow-shaft motors but there are also a few things I didn't like about this craft.
Pros:
- powerful 2205 hollow shaft motors
- plug-and-fly (just add your receiver, a battery and fly)
- comes with good accessories
- has a convenient lightweight carry-case
Cons:
- comes with a very poor 5.8GHz/2.4GHz CP antenna (biff it)
- very, very little internal space for mounting an RC receiver
- soldering of ESC wires to PDB could be improved
- FPV camera mounting setup is bad
- frame unnecessarily weakened by holes that need not be there
Watch for part 2 of this review when I'll thrash it around the skies to the best (or worst) of my abilities.
