Here's an overview of the Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3, a solid offering in their Z68 line. A unique feature of this board is the mSATA bracket (physically a mini PCIe connector, wired for SATA) below the CPU socket that can be used to mount a teeny-tiny mSATA SSD. This is ideal for a small, low-capacity SSD that can be set up as a cache drive for a larger-capacity mechanical HDD by way of Intel's Smart Response Technology, a feature of the Z68 chipset.
