Australian Drone Nationals Acro Final Day

Thomas’s Winning Second Acro run at the Australian Drone Nationals. This was a very interesting flight in that he had just done his first Semi Final of the racing on Sunday and he had to make the decision to either fly one of the Helix Racers (DVR Only) for the Acro or Change to his Alien which would mean a camera Angle Change, completely different flying machines, which would mess his flying up for both this Acro and the following Semi only minutes after.
He made the decision that it didn’t matter if he won or lost but he really wanted to go home with a memory of the flight with GoPro quality footage. So the 6” Alien on 5” HQ Props (Rotor Riot Edition) with T-Motor F60 was the go! Her Nickname is Silver Beast.
You’ll hear me counting him down towards the end, he needed to know when his quad was going to run out of juice since his previous acro ended with a crash into one of the Flags because the battery got too low. On day one the music was really loud and you couldn’t hear the Taranis.
