ImpulseRC 5" Helix - GoPro Acro Maiden

This is Thomas’ first attempt at flying the Helix with a GoPro on it. This week we finally received the GoPro Camera mounts from ImpulseRC but unfortunately it’s been pretty poor weather and every time Thomas has got out of school, it’s started to rain.
Weather wasn’t great but no rain!! Keep in mind it’s Spring here now and it’s still cold. Fingers crossed for some warmer weather. Technically this is his first full flight with the GoPro. The first attempt the quad had no power and fell out of the sky after 20 seconds. I think either the pack wasn’t charged or it’s just died.
Anyway what better way to see this beast in action, than a full uncut, un-edited flight. Keep in mind the Quad is still running the race tune used for the Nationals. We didn’t have time to tune because the weather wasn’t looking the best.
