Hi everyone!
Welcome to my cooking channel (food channel)!
In this video I'm going to show you how to make easy delicious Thai appetizer Crab Rangoon!
It's one of the very delicious and popular Thai appetizer from Thai restaurant around US, and very easy to make so you've got to try!
If you are looking for easy and simple appetizer recipes, this is the one!
When I go to Thai restaurants and order crab rangoon, I always thought, "Where is freaking crab?!"
Because it's 99.9% cream cheese, 0.05% green onion or celery and 0.05% imitation crab meat. So I thought, I can make it at home much better and full of crab! (It sounds so wrong..? lololol)
Anyways, I baked these beauties in oven instead frying. A bit less crunch to be honest with you, but makes you feel a lot better eating them. (Like 20 of 'em! lol)
So, here you go! My baked crab rangoon recipe!
Baked Crab Rangoon
Ingredients
24 to 28 wanton wrappers
4 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup lump crab meat
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Cooking spray
Direction
Preheat oven 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Coat it evenly with cooking spray.
To make filling, combine cream cheese and next 4 ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Place 1/2 teaspoon of filling at center of a wrapper, wet edges with water. Fold in half to form rectangle, pressing middle to seal but not the edges; pushing other sides in towards the center to create a four-pointed star. This way you can make pretty flower looking crab rangoon(You can simply seal by folding it in have in a triangular shape, no problem!). Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling, and place on lined baking sheet. It will makes at least 24 crab rangoons.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until it's golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven.
Serve with your favorite sweet chili sauce or my homemade Sweet Chili Garlic Dressing.

Good luck in your kitchen!!
