When a bunch of RC plane fliers turned up at the airfield - I didn't ask any questions but I did break out the video camera.
Thanks to the lousy weather we've had this summer, it was mostly very overcast which made filming very difficult -- but I got some footage of the ParkZone Spitfire and a Hangar9 P47 Thunderbolt with ThunderTiger 91FS engine. Unfortunately, the latter lost a wheel on landing.
Later, a little flight-training action took place after a Spektrum DX6 was bound to a DX9 for some wireless buddy-boxing.
The noise in the background was a 125cc mini-dragster that someone was testing on the runway in preparation for the drag-racing next month.
Quite a busy day at the airfield.
