PUMA evoPOWER 1.2 Limited Edition Dragon Unboxing

Boot expert Blake from FootballBoots.co.uk unboxes the special Dragon edition of the 1.2 evoPOWER by PUMA.
The new evoPOWERS feature a special colourway and design dubbed the Dragon edition. An elegant glossy red colour is used as the primary colour with white colouring the trademark PUMA formstripe on the side of the boot. A special grey dragon scaled design is seen on the heel which is inspired by Japanese dragon mythology. The sockliner is in sync with the upper featuring the same design. That same grey colour is used on the soleplate and GripTex design.
For those of you out there that like special edition football boots, this is certainly one of the best looking by PUMA. The last graphics evoPOWER PUMA made was the Graffiti edition in the first generation.
Designed to offer enhanced power and comfort the new generation evoPOWER uses the technologies of old and combines them with several new technologies forming the most advanced football boot yet by PUMA.
The upper uses the exact same AdapLite material first seen on the original evoPOWER and it's designed to stretch one way enhancing the motion of barefoot kicking. This time round the AdapLite material has been reinforced with additional synthetic ribs to provide more protection and structure. The AdapLite material spans the entire upper bar the heel region.
Layered on top of the AdapLite upper is the AccuFoam technology which is designed to provide a much more clean and uniform striking surface as well as a bit of protection when striking the ball. This time round the AccuFoam pads have been made larger and spaced further apart. The AccuFoam pads align with the off-centre lacing system to help with locking down your foot into the shoe.
On top of the AccuFoam pads is an additional Griptex layer which was first seen on the evoSPEED by PUMA. It's designed to add another layer of friction and grip between the boot and ball and it works especially well in wet conditions.
Say goodbye to the cheese looking EverFit Cage as the new evoPOWER boasts a much more elegant EverFit Cage on the medial side of the boot. This is designed to wrap your foot into the sole for better comfort, stability and protection around the midfoot.
The tongue uses the same Adaplite material and features three foam pads to provide protection on top of your foot.
The soleplate has stayed exactly the same as the boot uses the Gradual Stability Frame first seen on the original evoPOWER. This soleplate is designed to flex both ways so you can deliver the ultimate strike. Its rigid at the heel and like a spine it flexes out around the midfoot.
The combination of eleven conical and bladed studs do great work on firm ground surfaces.
The same internal heel counter is again featured to lock down your heel into the shoe while the sockliner has two poron inserts for lightweight comfort. The gap between the poron inserts helps to flex the boot completely.
