FPV practice (rate mode!)

I hear people say that spending more time on angle mode makes it harder to switch to rate mode later, but I have not found that to be the case. I think any time spent doing FPV will help - a big part of it is learning to judge your speed, momentum, altitude, throttle control etc which is the same for any control mode. This is only my sixth battery on rate mode and I'm feeling fairly comfortable already. Landing is hard though!
