Newegg TV: Sandy Bridge Design Issue Explanation & Workaround

Video Channel
Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?

Intel identified a design error with their P67 & H67 chipsets this week, which has prompted some confusion as to what early adopters should do if they purchased a system or motherboard based on the Socket 1155 Sandy Bridge platform. Essentially, 4 of the 6 SATA ports that are controlled by the H67/P67 chipsets are flawed and should not be used.
We wanted to share a hardware work-around with our viewers to bypass the issue for now, and also provide some more in-depth explanation regarding this design error. We've also created a thread on our EggXpert community forums where you can find up-to-date information on how we at Newegg are helping to resolve this problem. Please check this forum thread periodically as we will do our best to update it once we have more information (Subject to change without notice):
