Following well-received previous singles, Christa Vi is releasing a third single ‘Loveblind’, lifted from her forthcoming debut album, Makeshift Happiness. ‘Loveblind’ was co-written with London Producer Bxentric (Nanda Records) and produced with the help of Andrew McDonnell (SUNS, Petite Noir) and Dan Brown (Massive Attack, Karin Park). Loveblind has a warm texture and shimmering instrumentation with Christa Vi’s emotive vocals gliding over. The lyrics are a somewhat darker meditation on the destabilising and addictive nature of destructive relationships. Supported so far by BBC6 Introducing, Australia’s Triple J Unearthed, Amazing Radio, London’s KissFM and DJMag Radio, along with generous music press coverage, Christa Vi’s full album release is due out later in 2016 on Tangelo Records.
