I'll be a little transparent here. When I put the red bottoms on my Racehound (5" Zuul) it made my Superbeast feel slow. So I started to think about how I could get some pep back in the Superbeast.
I started to pay more attention to power-to-weight and figured moving down in motors size (from Cobra 2208) might be the ticket IF they could put out enough thrust.
So I got another set of RS2205 2300 and tested them with the Gemfan 6045. With a liHV Bonka 1300 I got around 1500g @ 37 amps so off the cobras went haha.
I did the tuning with some Rebel 1800 packs as I'm waiting for some Bonka HV 1800's to come. Then it will be truly insane.
