This compilation starts off a bit houesy, but gets trancey quickly, and before you know it the BPM starts to raise and we're in some uplifting tunes!
Trance giants Cosmic Gate kick things off with their track 'Alone', it might be a bit cheesy, but I really like it; looking forward to the extended mix. Estiva is next with 'Voices', again kinda cheesy, but a nice track regardless. Beautiful track off of Zouk Recordings from Joey Dale, Ares Carter, and nice vocals from Natalie Angiuli.
My favorite out of a couple tracks from Dash Berlin's latest album 'We Are Part 1'. One of my favorite duos, Antillas & Dankaan rework ASSAF's Faded'. I love the atmosphere throughout the track. Ilan Bluestone remixed perhaps the greatest vocal trance track, and although he didn't come close to A&B's mix, it has grown on me and he did a pretty nice job.
Speaking of Above & Beyond here is their 'Blue Sky Action' club mix, featuring Alex Vargas. At first I didn't like it, but now I think its a very nice track from them, and even a bit like 'Sun & Moon'. Now we start to get really trancey with bass-line master Andy Moor and vocalist Betsie Larkin's 'Not Afraid'. The vocals are brilliant and the track is just amazing!
By far the darkest track out of the mix, Hazem Beltagui and Aneym's 'Remember Me' having haunting chopped vocals, then a breathing taking/saddening piano-line in the breakdown. Already a great original, but Standerwick took it to a new level with his remix of 'Skin Deep'.
Massive tune from Mark Sherry & Clare Stagg, I don't know what to say other than this is seriously an unreal track from tech-trance legend Mark Sherry. One of my favorites from Aly & Fila this year, that melody is incredible, I don't understand how you couldn't dance to it! Roxanne's voice is stunning as well. We end the mix with Aly & Fila, ReOrder & Standerwick's Skypatrol, and beautiful vocals from Sue McLaren. An amazing melody from SkyPatrol and a lot of energy in the drop.
