Adapting to a Racing Frame in a Race!
NOTE: Thomas isn't changing frames or anything like that at the moment, this is him just trying out different frames like the AstroX through to the Hawk5 etc
This whole scenario really was amazing to witness in real life. My first thoughts were, well no big deal you will adapt in the easier races but first up he was racing Luke! The pressure was on in a big way and Luke held the lead for two laps! What was amazing was seeing him adapt to the quad every lap getting faster and faster. The last lap he backs off because he knows he's won it.
The key thing to keep in mind, is this frame was only flown the previous day.
In the next few races he got more comfortable with the frame, but we just found it fascinating that he could adapt to a completely new frame and props so quickly.
For those of you wondering about the frame, we will do a video on it soon. I already have the footage and just need to get the edit together.
The Frame is a XBee MCK Edition Frame, running Foxeer Camera/Antenna and FlightOne Electronics and T-Motor F60 Pro II. More on this frame soon.
