More bad news on the Foxtech Screamer 250. Unfortunately, on top of the other problems I've encountered, the FPV camera also seems faulty on this unit and in a simple line-of-sight flight, an attempt to do something as simple a a pirouette resulted in the model accelerating upwards briefly, then crashing to the ground, whereupon the motors went to full speed before I was able to disarm it (no, I wasn't in airmode).
So now I'll be stripping the model down and rebuilding it the way I believe it should have been built in the first place.
The concept is sound, the idea is exciting but the delivery is, for all the reasons stated to date, somewhat lacking.
Stay tuned though... in the next video on the Screamer, I hope to demonstrate its full capabilities.
