Make a Drone Map WHILE You Fly with DroneDeploy

In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew talks with Devon Tackels of DroneDeploy about the latest features available from the drone software maker. The first is called LiveMap, and allows users to create real-time maps while the drone is still in the air. The low-resolution map is stitched together on the user's tablet or smartphone and can be viewed immediately. The images captured by the drone can also be used later to create a full-resolution map – the same service DroneDeploy has already been providing. Another new feature, called Progress Photos, allows the drone to be assigned specific waypoints to take photos, which can be repeated every day, week, month or any other interval, to show the progress made on a job site, for example. Finally, Drone On Demand allows customers to plan a mission and then post it to Uplift Data Partners and/or Drone Base to have a freelance drone pilot acquire the data – all within 72 hours.
