In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew hears from Andrew Saxton, the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Radio Hill Technologies, about the “Dronebuster.” It is a handheld counter-UAS system that has already been deployed with the US military and its allies overseas, as well as foreign law enforcement and public safety agencies. The Dronebuster is capable of detecting what frequencies a drone is using for control, video and telemetry and jamming those signals, with the optional ability to jam its GPS / GNSS reception, as well. This will immediately blackout the drone pilot's view from the aircraft and cause it either to land at its present location or return to home. Owing to Federal Communications Commission regulations,the Dronebuster cannot currently be used domestically within the United States.
